About the Filmmaker

Mackie Mallison is a mixed American Japanese filmmaker living in Brooklyn, NY. Mackie searches to explore the unraveling of memory, and uses film and sculpture as a way to construct wondrous scenarios that would otherwise feel unreachable. He is a current member of the Brooklyn Filmmakers Collective, Video Consortium, and a student in Pratt Institute's Film/Video B.F.A. program.
