About the Filmmaker

AJ is a motion designer and video editor with a BA in Digital Design from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He is a filmmaker by way of motion graphics and design focusing on visual storytelling that helps enable others to tell their story. He is an editor for KoreanAmericanStory.org, documenting and continuing to tell stories with them. He is currently based in New Jersey.

Janice Chung is a Korean American photographer and filmmaker born and raised in New York City. Through her work, Chung amplifies and deconstructs her Korean American heritage by capturing moments that are deeply personal to her. She has earned her B.F.A. in photography/video at the School of Visual Arts and has exhibited her work internationally in Seoul and New York. She is currently one of the lead videographers and photographers at KoreanAmericanStory.org, where she has filmed close to 200 individual Korean American stories.
